“Open Season” is the feature-length animated movie made by Sony Pictures Company where all extremes of the animal world converge in unexpected ways.

Grizzly bear named Boog grows up among the people; he is completely manual and has no idea about the life of wild animals. He lives in a small quiet town Timberline with his mother Beth. One day he meets a wild forest reindeer Eliot. Elliot is a skinny, thin unicorn.

Boog: Get out of here!
Elliot: Hey, I took you out of the garage. You should thank me.
Boog: Thank you?
Elliot: You’re welcome.

Elliot convinces a bear not to sit dejectedly in his cozy den in a huntsman’s garage. Friends decide to walk in the city. But they lose the way and find themselves in the forest. Therewith it occurs that hunting season was opened a day ago. Boog and Eliot must hurry to save their lives. Friends call for forest dwellers to unite and push back against the hunters.

When Boog wakes up in the morning and understand that he is in the woods, the panics starts.  However, Elliot reassures him and promise to take back to Timberline but in exchange for a comfortable place in a cosy urban bear’s den. Boog is forced to agree: without the help of an experienced friend he won’t survive. With the opening of hunting season, animals should try to save themselves in all possible ways. Two friends go on a dangerous journey to seek the support of other forest dwellers and to destroy the plans of two-legged strangers.
